Delete your data
Your CarPlateBook account (Sign in with Apple) holds only your Apple user ID, the email Apple shares with us and your report credits. Everything else personal is stored only on your phone.
Delete your account
- Open CarPlateBook and go to Profile.
- Under Account tap Delete account and confirm.
We delete your account, email and unused report credits from our server straight away. You can also stop using Sign in with Apple for CarPlateBook in iPhone Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple. If you can't open the app, email info@annmarlimited.co.uk from the address on your account and we'll delete it within 30 days.
Delete everything on your phone
- Open CarPlateBook.
- Tap your photo (top of the Garage) or the person icon on To do to open Profile.
- Tap Delete all my data and confirm.
This removes your cars, past cars, photos, dates, insurance details, licence points and profile immediately. Deleting the app also deletes all of it.
What we hold on our server
Only cached results for registrations that were looked up (7 days, full reports 30 days) and daily usage counters (25 hours). They are deleted automatically. To remove a cached result for a registration sooner, email info@annmarlimited.co.uk with the registration and we'll delete it within 30 days.
Purchases
Purchases are recorded by Apple on your Apple ID, not by us. You can view them in your Apple ID purchase history.
