Data accuracy
Vehicle details, MOT history, mileage, valuations, specification, photos and history checks come from the DVLA, the DVSA and licensed industry sources through our data partner. Records can be incomplete, delayed or wrong, and some events (for example private sales, unrecorded damage or finance not registered) never appear in any database.
Before you buy a car
- Check the V5C logbook matches the car (VIN, engine number, colour) and the seller's address.
- Get an independent inspection and a test drive.
- If a finance agreement shows, ask the seller for a settlement letter or confirm with the lender before paying.
- Never pay without seeing the car and its documents.
Photos
Car photos show the model and colour from the registration record. They are not photos of the actual vehicle.
Values
Values are guide prices from industry data for typical mileage and condition, not a valuation of a specific car.
Condition score
The condition score is our own estimate from MOT results, advisories and mileage. It is not an inspection.
